Finally, I have discovered how to make my two Master degrees – in English and Landscape Architecture – complement each other. I enjoy showing business owners how simple it is to project an image of expertise, commitment and integrity at all levels of customer interaction. Now when people gasp when I tell them of my two disparate degrees, I can say, “Hey! Both are about communicating.”
Although I moved to Phoenix in 2001, I am still adjusting to the summers. I may have turned a corner, though, because I found myself telling someone that 104 is a lot different from 110. I can even get up a little bit late – say 6:15 AM and sneak in a short run without feeling depleted. Our move to North Central Phoenix has also increased my enthusiasm for Phoenix living.
